I tore my MCL practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on 4/30. As a 44yo, I thought my martial arts days, or any
physical activity involving my knees, were over.

Surgery was explored, but due to the extremely high out-of-pocket expenses, long rehab process, and a
maximum of 80% mobile recovery, it was the absolute last option.
I initially went to Dr. Lee’s colleague, who is a chiropractor also named Dr. Lee, to treat the tear with
acupuncture and laser therapy. It was during my second treatment with my chiro, that he suggested
Prolotherapy treatment with Dr. Clement Lee.

I performed my own due diligence of researching the procedure and came away impressed enough to
consult with Dr. Lee about the therapy.

My initial response to Dr. Lee was “How can this young teenage looking kid be a doctor?” But after
talking to him and hear him explain the procedure in detail, I soon realized that he was very intelligent,
knowledgeable, and personable. He makes you feel comfortable and talks to you so you understand
exactly what the treatment consists of, and what to expect.

My treatment consisted of 5 Prolotherapy sessions over the course of 10 weeks. My knee felt better
after each session, and after 10 weeks, I was back on the mat practicing Jiu Jitsu. My knee is currently
99% healed. I’m completely sold on Prolotherapy now. Hopefully, I won’t need it again, but if I do, I’m
definitely coming back to Dr. Lee.

I am a Hapkido instructor at Kim’s Hapkido. In Hapkido we use a wide variety of techniques that involve twisting and throwing of an opponent. We use a lot of techniques that use high falling, where you fall high off the ground. I have been active in Hapkido for over 11 years and my left shoulder was constantly clicking. My shoulder pain got to the point where if I lifted my shoulder, I would experience pain. One solution was to visit Dr. Lee. After going through Prolotherapy for a couple of months, my shoulder pain completely went away. I now have full range with my shoulder and am completely healed. I recommend this treatment for any type of athlete.

I am a Hapkido Master at Kim’s Hapkido and have been practicing Hapkdio since 1988. Throughout my Hapkido journey, I have experienced various injuries. Over the past twenty years, I’ve had injuries to both shoulders, and my ankle. My rotator cuff was damaged to the point where I could not move my shoulder. A regular doctor recommended surgery and getting cortisone shots. Prolotherapy was my last choice but I decided to give it a try. After going through Prolotherapy, my rotator cuff is a lot better than before. I have full range with my shoulder. I highly recommend this to my students as I am living proof that Prolotherapy works.

My thumbs have been painful for about 4 or 5 years. I am a fitness instructor and a musician, so I use my hands a lot. Recently I started prolotherapy treatment with Dr. Lee. I have had two treatments on my left thumb. It was still painful at times after the first treatment, and fairly stiff. But two days after my second treatment, my flute instructor asked me how my thumb was feeling. I held up my hand and moved my thumb effortlessly entirely across the palm of my hand! I hadn't realized that as my thumb became more painful, it also had become stiff. It is not quite pain-free yet, but the ability to move it freely is wonderful!

I have suffered from low back pain, hip pain and shin pain subsequent to a severe motor vehicle accident 15 years ago. After the accident I was diagnosed with severe whiplash, herniated discs in my lumbar spine, and degeneration in my right hip. I had seen several specialists and was seen by a Pain management facility for years, where I was given several medications, chiropractic adjustments, massage and physiotherapy. As these treatments would only provide temporary relief and never take the pain away completely. I was scheduled to have surgery, when I had heard about Prolotherapy. I decided to give it a try and see if it would provide some relief.

After the first visit with Dr. Lee, my pain had subsided greatly, more so then with any other treatment I had ever had. My pain was no longer a 10/10 but had drastically diminished to a 6/10. I was able to walk straighter and with more ease after one visit.

With 4 treatments of Prolotherapy my pain is almost non-existent. It very rarely flares and when it does it is at most a 2/10. This is the only therapy that has had a lasting effect on me, with no adverse side effects. After many years of debilitating pain that hindered my physical activity, I am now able to do the things that I enjoy most without pain.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lee for Prolotherapy!

I sought out Dr. Lee because I knew that he would offer more than just an orthopedic perspective regarding my injuries. My marathon training came to a halt after tearing a groin muscle. It never healed despite physical therapy, yoga and other natural therapies. Two years later after receiving one round of prolo, I have regained increased ROM, decreased pain, and stability. He not only treated that muscle but other joints like my knees and feet that were compromised and most likely contributing to the problem. He also made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. The best part was the nutritional counseling and exercise program I was put on. Within a few days I was able to get on the treadmill again! I highly recommend Dr. Lee!
